Roosevelt Story

This account is about Jessie's adventures with Eleanor Roosevelt who opened her speech classes in Washington D.C. for three years. Jessie wrote the book Time To Speak Up, which became an important textbook for women learning to take the lecture podium. Jessie taught over five hundred women in D.C. to speak, and thousands of women when she was invited to tour across the country with her book.
