Gloria Steinem

At ages ninety to ninety three, Jessie went several times to speak along side Gloria Steinem and Marlo Thomas in Hollywood as the elder suffragette. They would send a limo that would whisk her off to join them when they spoke for the National Organization for Women (NOW) and several other organizations. The three of them made quite a team. At the same time, Jessie was featured, along with four other women, in the book From Parlor to Prison that has been used for college women's studies ever since.
